August 1,  2023 – Tulare County Sheriff's Office officials report that TCSO Homicide Detectives have arrested a second suspect in the murder of an Ivanhoe man last week.

Around 5:15 p.m. on July 24, 2023, TCSO Deputies were called to a shooting in the area of Ave. 327/Rd. 158 in Ivanhoe. When they arrived, Deputies found 34-year-old Antonio Tapia Jr. lying in the road with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide Detectives served warrants in Ivanhoe and identified 23-year-old Ismar Ambriz as a suspect in the murder and arrested him last Thursday.

On Monday, July 31, 2023, Detectives identified a 16-year-old Ivanhoe boy as the second suspect in the murder. He was arrested and booked at the Juvenile Detention facility on murder charges.
