August 5, 2023 - Fresno Police Department officials report that the central patrol officers initiated a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation in the area of Shields Avenue and Adoline Avenue.  Officers contacted the driver, who was found to have a prior arrest for his involvement in a brandishing of a firearm three days prior. The driver admitted to having a firearm in his vehicle.

During a search of the vehicle, officers located a loaded, illegally concealed firearm.

The driver was arrested for multiple firearm-related violations and booked into the Fresno County Jail.
