August 9, 2023 - Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Friday August 4th, 2023, just before 2:20 a.m. in the morning, deputies Tuolumne County Sheriff 2021responded to the area of Skyview Drive near Columbia Way for a report of an assault. The reporting party told deputies he had been hit in the head with a flashlight by 39-year-old Shawna Alexander or a man she was with, causing an injury to his head. He was later transported to the hospital by ambulance for his injury.

Deputies later spoke to Alexander at her home in the area of Cover Ranch Road. While speaking with Alexander in her room, deputies located 34-year-old Andrew Buzinskis hiding in the closet. Deputies knew Buzinskis had warrants for his arrest. After arresting Buzinskis deputies saw he had a loaded Browning 12gauge shotgun next to him.
