August 13, 2023 - Fresno Police Department officials report that the southwest patrol officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of First Street and Washington Avenue for a vehicle code violation. Upon contacting the driver, officers witnessed the driver attempt to kick an object under the driver's seat. The officers also observed a useable amount of marijuana inside the vehicle.

During a search of the vehicle, officers located a loaded privately manufactured firearm beneath the driver's seat, along with an additional thirty live rounds in plastic bags. The driver was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail on various weapons and drug related charges and was cited for the vehicle code violation.
