2023 MOTG Poster

August 21, 2023 - After twelve consecutive weekends of free, live music featuring bands from across California, the 2023 Music on the Green season comes to a close on August 25 and 26.

“I've been really impressed with the attendance and atmosphere.” says Adam Burns, a local musician and Program and Projects Manager at the Arts Council. “We’re thrilled by the range of new musicians brought in to play alongside some of the Green’s long-standing local favorites. This program definitely has a huge impact on the mood and feel of our town in the summer for visitors, locals, and the bands themselves.”

Music on the Green is produced by Andy Roberts, a local musician who is set to play the final date of the season on Friday, August 25, with his band Tarantulabanjo, or T-Ranch accompanied by a showcase of folk musicians as “T-Ranch’s Folk Extravaganza.”

On Saturday, August 26, Roger Perry holds the honorary tradition of closing out the Music on the Green season.  Roger is an internationally recognized Fresno Music icon who spans genres from jazz to country, blues and more with his unforgettable voice and masterful guitar playing. Skillet, Kevin Mchatten accompanies on percussion. Roger Perry is always one of the most anticipated concerts of the season.
