Traffic Signal at State Route 41 and Avenue 15
Will Be Flashing Red During Overnight
Hours in Madera County on August 29-31, 2023
August 26, 2023 - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), along with Cal Valley Construction, announces that the traffic signal at State Route 41 and Avenue 15 will be flashing red during overnight hours starting Tuesday, August 29th.
The following will occur:
- The light will start flashing red each night starting at 8:00 P.M., beginning Tuesday, August 29th
- It will continue to flash until 6:00 A.M. each following morning.
- This will occur for the nights of Tuesday, August 29th, Wednesday August 30th and Thursday August 31st, ending at 6:00 A.M. Friday, September 1st in the morning
- It will only be flashing red each night from 8:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. the following morning.
This is necessary, as the paving project on State Route 41, at Avenue 15, continues to progress.
The time frame, of the flashing light may be extended, if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur.
Caltrans reminds you to drive with extra care and allow additional time while travelling near construction zones. Please be alert for construction personnel and remember to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
