Above normal temperatures with minimum relative humidity of 10-30% will continue near and west of the Cascades in northwest California, Oregon, and Washington. Above normal temperatures will spread into the northern Great Basin, Inland Northwest, and northern Rockies as well. Isolated to scattered mixed wet and dry thunderstorms will develop across eastern Oregon into central and southern Idaho and southern Montana. Monsoonal thunderstorms will continue over the Four Corners states, with the greatest coverage over New Mexico and Colorado and more isolated activity in Arizona and Utah. Hot, dry, and locally breezy conditions will continue across the southern Plains into the Lower Mississippi Valley and Southeast. Isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms will develop as well, with small rainfall footprints. Scattered to widespread thunderstorms will develop along a slow-moving cold front from the central Plains into the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys, southern Appalachians, and Carolinas. Showery conditions will continue in the Northeast behind the front, but some warming will occur due to less cloud cover. Widespread showers are expected across Alaska, but portions of the eastern Interior through the panhandle are likely to remain dry.
