September 18, 2023 - Fresno Police Department officials report that Northeast DST officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Woodrow Avenue and Alamos Avenue. The driver was identified as a known gang member and found to be on probation for domestic violence related charges. The passenger was also found to be an active gang member who was on parole with an active warrant.

A search of the vehicle revealed the driver had a concealed firearm in the vehicle. The firearm was not registered to either of the vehicle’s occupants.

The passenger was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail on his warrant. The driver was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail for firearm related charges, as well as being cited for traffic violation.
