TRAFFIC ADVISORY 
One-Way Traffic Control for October 1-7, 2023 

September 29, 2023 - MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this caltrans signweek on State Route-49 (SR-49), and SR-140 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control from Stockton Street to Blacks Creek Road in Coulterville for shoulder work beginning Monday, October 2, through Friday, October 6, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

State Route 140

  • One-way traffic control from Midpines to South Fork Merced River for pavement work beginning Sunday, October 1, through Friday, October 6, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
