Deputy Mirelez will still have a long road ahead with many surgeries as he continues to heal.

October 14, 2015 - Deputy Rudy Mirelez was shot in the line of duty on October 1, 2015.
Rudy continues to improve after being shot in the mouth and torso. He is recovering from his recent surgery on Monday. With many more surgeries to come, Rudy continues to be in good spirits as he moves forward in his healing process.
Rudy would like to pass on that he and his wife are so thankful for everything and all of the support he has received.
