.SYNOPSIS...
Temperatures continue to rise as high pressure builds. High
temperatures in Central California will be around 10 degrees

pressure trough will move through the forecast area and result in
lower temperatures early next week.

.DISCUSSION...
Temperatures continue to rise throughout Central California as
high pressure continues to build and impact our forecast area.
High temperatures today look to be in the low to mid 90s
throughout the San Joaquin Valley, which is around 5-10 degrees
higher than what is normally seen at this time of year.

Saturday will be the hottest day of this warm-up, as temperatures
will rise further by a few degrees from today. Many cities within
the San Joaquin Valley could potentially see near record or record
high temperatures on Saturday and Sunday. Here are probabilities
that certain cities will see 95 degrees or more as a high
temperature on Saturday:
Bakersfield: 91%
Fresno: 71%
Hanford: 46%
Visalia: 46%
Madera: 36%
Merced: 26%

On Monday afternoon, a low pressure trough off the coast will
begin tracking inland, lowering temperatures. By Wednesday,
temperatures throughout the forecast area look to be roughly five
degrees below what is normally seen at this time of year. There
are some slight chances for rain Monday night into Tuesday north
of Fresno County due to the trough, but other than these chances,
there is no precipitation forecast throughout the next week. Once
this trough moves out of the forecast area, another buildup of
high pressure will again lead to a warm next weekend.

.AVIATION...
