Carla is a retired math teacher and often used origami to demonstrate mathematic concepts to her middle-school students. Origami helped her teach fractions and geometry and now she is applying her skills to making these unique Christmas decorations.
“Give one-of-a-kind, handcrafted Christmas wreaths this year using origami. Have fun and make something special, too,” says Carla.
On the same day, after this event in Oakhurst, Carla will be teaching the same class at the North Fork Library (32908 Road 222, 559-877-2387) from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
