October 27, 2023 - This week 35 Freshman in the Mariposa FFA Chapter traveled with the Officer team to Gustine High School and competed in the Sectional Opening and Closing Ceremonies Contest. The officer team won first place in the Section with Annie Bryant Chapter Treasurer receiving the outstanding Treasurer award.

Mariposa FFA is very thankful for the opportunity to be able to compete in the Sectional Opening and Closing contest. We would like to send out a special thanks to Gustine High School for holding this competition again.

Our Freshman teams had many successes as well. Teams were given gold and silver awards as well as many freshman students receiving outstanding office awards including: Maddie Cole-President, Taylor Krull-Vice President, Brielle Martin-Secretary, Ashton Davies-Treasurer, Chloe King-President, Caden Lindsey-Vice President, Reid Allison-Treasurer, Addie Garcia-Reporter, Mercy Wellcome-Reporter.
