Northern Mariposa County History Center November Community Breakfast
Sunday, November 8th
The Holiday season is here, with Thanksgiving just weeks away, followed by the whirl of Christmas (or Chanukah, Kwansaa) and the New Year. So take a break from the hectic pace and treat yourself and your family to breakfast on Sunday, November 8th at the Old School House in Historic Coulterville, located at the corner of Broadway and Cemetery Streets. A perfect destination for a brisk fall morning drive or walk! Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. A generous serving of eggs, ham or sausage, “all-you-can-eat” pancakes, fresh fruit and beverage costs only $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children or get the family “package” for $15.00 (2 adults & 2 children).

Raffle tickets will be on sale for a lovely quilted winter-themed wall hanging created and donated to the museum by Sally Punte. A holiday centerpiece will be the second prize. The drawing (winner need not be present) will take place at the December pancake breakfast on Sunday, December 13th.
Holiday Bazaar
The NMCHC’s Holiday Bazaar will open on the same day, Sunday, November 8th and run through Thursday, December 24th. Hours are the same as the museums: Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. An array of inexpensive, “county” themed holiday gift items will be available that make perfect stocking stuffers, hostess gifts of just something else to put under the tree for someone on your list.
The two Holiday raffle prizes are on display at the museum if you would like to check them out. Tickets are available at the museum during regular operating hours.
The NMCHC was established as a 501c3 charitable organization in 1976 with the History Center opening to the public in 1980. Visited by thousands each year, including international travelers from around the world, the various displays and photos provide an authentic glimpse of the life and times of the pioneers who helped settle the area in the early 1800’s and those who traveled west during the 1849 California gold rush. Memberships and volunteer opportunities are available.
