November 20, 2023 - Fresno Police Department officials report that shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023, officers from the Northeast Policing District were dispatched to 7090 North Blackstone Avenue regarding a report of a stabbing victim. Officers arrived and located 23-year-old Mohamed Abdillahi behind the T-Mobile business on Abby Street. Mr. Abdillahi had been stabbed multiple times and was transported to St. Agnes Hospital. He was pronounced deceased by doctors shortly after his arrival.

Detectives learned that the victim was involved in a physical altercation with another male before he was fatally stabbed. Detectives are reviewing video surveillance from the area and are searching for witnesses who were present during the assault.
