November 23, 2023 - Mariposa County Sheriff's Office and Mariposa Safe Families report on this year’s Operation Turkey.
Mariposa!!! The last few days have been filled with so much joy and heartwarming moments as we teamed up with Mariposa County Sheriff's Office, Pioneer Supermarket and Pharmacy, and Mariposa County Sheriff’s Foundation, for our 2nd annual “Operation Turkey!”
This partnership allowed for 80 full turkey meals to be gifted to Mariposa families for the Thanksgiving holiday! The Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff’s Foundation and Mariposa Safe Families Team members even made a few special deliveries of these Thanksgiving meals to several Mariposa families!
We want to give special thanks to MSO Sergeant Jennifer Lobaugh, MSO Sergeant Mike Canter, MSO Dispatcher Ashley Costa, Lori Law and other members from the Sheriff’s Foundation, Mike Lilley and his Team from Pioneer Market, personnel from the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office, MSF, and youth from our After School Matters and Youth Advisory Group, for your dedication to serving our local families. This all wouldn’t have been possible without your time, commitment, and hard work!
