Suspicious Circumstances Missing Person Investigation 

November 26, 2023 - Madera County Sheriff’s Office officials report that they are requesting the community’s help in locating a missing at-risk adult, 19-year-old Melanie Stephanie Rios Camacho of Firebaugh.

Melanie was last seen at her work, Auto Zone on Gateway Dr. in Madera, on November 24, 2023, around 10:15pm. She was wearing a grey Auto Zone shirt, possibly covered by a black Nike zip up sweater, and black pants. Melanie did not report to work this morning and has not been seen by or in contact with her family.

She is 4’11”, 120 lbs., brown eyes, with brown hair, and braces on her teeth. Melanie drives a 2014 white Nissan Altima, which was located on November 25 in the area of Avenue 14 and Road 8 in Madera County, abandoned and burned.
