November 29, 2023 - Ethos Youth Center announces the launch of a new Adopt A Teen Christmas Program in Mariposa.
We are excited to launch our first annual Adopt A Teen Christmas Program. Currently, there are no Christmas Programs for teens ages 12-18 in Mariposa County. The goal of this program is to bring Christmas joy to Mariposa teens who are not eligible for Christmas gifts from other holiday giving programs. We saw this need and want to bring some joy to our teens this Christmas Season.
The purpose of Adopt A Teen Christmas Program is to bring the community together by means of giving to others specifically through showing our local teens that we see them, we hear them, and that we want to include them this season. We will accomplish this by having our Teens write a Santa Letter, then matching them with sponsors. The sponsors will then receive the Santa Letter and will be able to buy something off their list. We at Ethos would then deliver the gift to the Teen on December 22, 2023.
We are still in need of some sponsors. If you would like to help make our teens' and their families' holiday a little brighter, please consider supporting the Adopt-A-Teen Christmas Program by adopting a Santa letter/wish list, dropping off a new wrapped gift, or making a monetary donation. We are looking for Businesses, Families, and Individuals to sign up as Awesome Sponsors. If you would like to sign up as an Awesome Sponsor, send us a message or email Kiki@alliance4you.org.

Beginning on November 20, 2023, teens, parents, or agencies can submit a letter to the Ethos Youth Center requesting assistance on their “Santa Letter”/wish list. The request must include the recipient's name, age (12-18 year old only), gender and their favorite store or item (max $40). If the request is able to be filled, the teen will be able to pick up at Ethos Youth Center on December 22, 2023.
All referrals must be completed by December 4th so that there is sufficient time to fill the requests.
