November 30, 2023 - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), along with Cal Valley Construction, announces that the traffic signals at Avenue 15 and State Route 145 on State Route 41, in Madera County, will be flashing red during overnight hours starting on the evening of Thursday, November 30th.
The following will occur:
- The lights will start flashing red at 8:00 p.m., beginning Thursday night, November 30th.
- They will continue to flash until 6:00 a.m., Friday morning, December 1st.
- This is only planned for the one night, as crews do some striping work along the project.
- Drivers should expect some delays during this time.
This is necessary, as the paving project on State Route 41, at Avenue 15, continues to progress.
The time frame, of the flashing light, may be extended, if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur.
Caltrans reminds you to drive with extra care and allow additional time while travelling near construction zones. Please be alert for construction personnel and remember to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
For the safety of workers and other motorists, please Be Work Zone Alert.
