December 17, 2023 - San Benito County Sheriff’s Office officials report that they are proud of CASPR and their allied agencies. The crime of murder has NO statute of limitations and we will NEVER stop pursuit of justice.
In our ongoing investigation pursuant to the murder or Adolfo "Junior" DAVILA, Jr., we conducted an operation in Modesto, CA. on Thursday, December 14, 2023, that resulted in an arrest and recovery of a firearm.
In cooperation with San Benito County Probation Department, the Ceres Police Department, Modesto Police Department, and the Modesto Police Crime Reduction Team (CRT) our Criminal Apprehension, Suppression, Prevention and Response Team (CASPR) went to an address in the city of Modesto and served a high-risk search warrant. The location of the warrant service was the 100 block of Orangeburg Ave. A result of this warrant was the seizure of a firearm, multiple items of evidence, and the arrest of REBECCA NUNEZ for accessory to murder and the murder of Junior.
The FBI has offered a $25,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of Alfredo "Fro" ARREDONDO who has a warrant for his arrest for this murder.

Arredondo has ties to Merced, Modesto, and Hollister, California. He may have traveled to Mexico.
CAUTION
The FBI's San Francisco Field Office is assisting the Hollister Police Department in California with the search for Alfredo Antonio Arredondo. Arredondo is wanted for murder in the death of a man on April 5, 2021. Arredondo is alleged to have shot and killed the victim after the two men had a disagreement at a restaurant in Hollister, California.
On June 7, 2021. Arredondo was charged with murder in the Superior Court of California, County of San Benito, and a state warrant was issued for his arrest.
