December 21, 2023 - El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on November 15th, three El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office S.T.A.R volunteers were involved in a terrible accident where a tree randomly fell on their passing vehicle. S.T.A.R volunteer Case, due to the accident, has since been in the hospital because of his injuries.
We are happy to report that Mr. Case is doing great and will be coming back to the comfort of his home real soon where he will continue with his rehabilitation and healing. Mr. Case is already looking forward to returning to volunteering with the S.T.A.Rs and supporting the community.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank everyone in the community who has come together and shown their support and concern for Mr. Case and the other S.T.A.Rs who were involved in the accident. Mr. Case wishes to thank Buckaroo Leather for the new hat to help him get back in the saddle.
