Request for Information on 2018 Homicide Investigation
December 22, 2023 - Fresno Police Department officials report that on March 10, 2018, the Fresno Police Department responded to the 2000 block of North Marks Avenue to investigate the shooting of 20-year-old Trazhan Heights, who was fatally shot multiple times while attempting to visit a friend. An 11-year-old juvenile was also struck by gunfire during this shooting. Both Trazhan and the juvenile were transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where Trazhan succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by medical personnel. The juvenile was able to survive their wounds and was later discharged from the hospital.
The Fresno Police Department’s Homicide Unit interviewed witnesses and searched the
surrounding neighborhood looking for video surveillance of the incident. Detectives have
been unable to identify any suspects in this case and are asking for anyone with information to please contact the Fresno Police Department.
