December 25, 2023 - Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that detectives are currently investigating a homicide.  The victim is a woman believed to be between 25 and 40 years old.  She has not yet been identified.

At 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, deputies responded to a report of an injured person in the roadway, near Adams and Highland Avenues, east of the city of Fowler.  The woman was deceased and suffered injuries consistent with a homicide.
