January 3, 2024 - Mariposa County Library invites everyone to attend the upcoming free Introduction to Backyard Astronomy workshop.
Interested in learning more about the night sky? Join us at the Mariposa Library for "Introduction to Backyard Astronomy" on Saturday, January 13th!
Join local astronomy enthusiast Jon Wurl to learn how to locate stars, planets, and constellations in the night sky.
This FREE introductory workshop is open to all ages, with three sessions offered throughout the day. Choose the time that works best for you.
10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Registration is required. Call 209-966-2140 to register or stop by the circulation desk. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No tools or previous experience necessary.
