Andy Isolano former New York City Firefighter during 9/11

November 19, 2015 - A Healing Field® was on display at the Mariposa Museum and History Center in Mariposa. The display was coordinated by Jaq Quinn as a 4-H Emerald Project is a field of 150 American Flags that were individually purchased by members of the community to pay tribute to military, law enforcement, fire personnel, first responders and special people. The flags are for remembering, honoring and healing. 

Mr. Quinn is fourteen years old and is in his fifth year as a member of the Hornitos 4-H. He thanks all the individuals. families and businesses that sponsored flags.

Jaq Quinns display of flags is called A Field of Service - Past and Present.  The Hornitos Patrons Club and Hornitos 4-H also helped with this ambitious project.

On Saturday, November 14, 2015 the closing ceremony was held with Jaq Quinn as the Master of Ceremony.

A very special speaker at the closing ceremony was Andy Isolano, former New York City Firefighter during 9/11 now working for the Clovis Fire Department.

This event was a fundraiser for the Mariposa Museum and History Center.
