January 29, 2024 - Tulare County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Sunday, TCSO Deputies received a call that three German Shepherds were trapped in the Friant Kern Canal near Avenue 128. The dogs tried to climb out on their own but slid back down the steep walls.
Brosamer & Wall, Inc. employees were able to contain the animals until TCSO Deputies and Tulare County Fire personnel arrived.
They all worked together to rescue two of the dogs, the third deputies had to be carried to safety because it was so scared. All dogs appear to be in good health and were being turned over to Tulare County Animal Control.
