Long-time TCSO Farm Manager Passes Away 

February 6, 2024 - Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials report that with great sorrow, Sheriff Mike Boudreaux announces the death of long-time TCSO Farm Manager Tom Guinn. He was 70 years old.

Tom started his career with the Sheriff’s Office in 1989 as an extra-help correctional officer. He became farm manager in 1992 and ran the Sheriff’s farm for 27 years. He retired in 2019.

The Sheriff’s farm continues to provide much of the food supply to all the Detention Facilities. Sheriff Boudreaux greatly appreciates Tom’s hard work, dedication, and, most of all, his friendship.

Tom is survived by his wife, Kathy, and children: Lauren Stewart (Tim); Travis Guinn (Davina); Samantha Mason (Morgan); Derek Parkey (Jodi); Lisa Niehaus (Karl); Brandon Parkey (Bryanna); and 10 grandchildren.
