February 7, 2024 - Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that the Sheriff's Office is searching for 96 beehives that were stolen from a field located near Interstate 5 and W. Panoche Road, west of Mendota. The hives disappeared between 5:30 p.m. on January 28th and 4:00 p.m. on January 29th. They are valued at nearly $34,000.
These particular hive are multi-colored and are all branded with the letters "MEB," so they should be easy to recognize.
