February 10, 2024 - SONORA, California - With its Phase Three Fire-Hire Event underway now through February 16, the Stanislaus National Forest is looking to fill 35 permanent fire vacancies.
Ranging from initial attack dispatch center operator to hotshot crew member, the positions cover the wide range of positions available in the fire profession with locations across all three of the Forests Districts.
“With many of our entry level positions filled in earlier hiring phases, this hiring event represents those positions we would consider more middle career level,” said Forest Assistant Fire Management Officer, Clint Gould.
