February 29, 2024 - Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that property crimes detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office have arrested 21-year-old Demetrius Williams of Fresno and 19-year-old Joseph Lepe of Fresno.  Both have been booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges of robbery.  Their bails are set at $280,000 each.

On January 24th, 2024, deputies responded to a home invasion robbery on the 8000 block of S. Bryan Ave. near Raisin City.  Two men held the victim at gunpoint and robbed him of his vehicle, cash, and cell phones.  Both fled the house.  The victim was not physically injured.

Property detectives were assigned to the case and eventually identified Demetrius Williams and Joseph Lepe as the primary suspects.  Detectives obtained arrest warrants for both men.

On February 27th, property crimes detectives and Ag Task Force detectives executed a search warrant at a home.  Williams and Lepe were contacted and taken into custody.  Detectives recovered the victim’s vehicle and cell phones.  All items were returned to him.
