March 2, 2024 - Fresno Police Department officials report that on Friday morning, the Fresno Police Department was notified that residents living in a neighborhood in the Central Policing district found papers containing hate statements left on their driveways. Officers arrived and found that papers had been placed in plastic bags and thrown onto the residential driveways. Officers, Community Service Officers, and Police Cadets are canvassing the neighborhood, removing the flyers they can find and searching for residents and businesses that may have captured surveillance video of who left the papers.

Of the flyers recovered so far, there are no direct threats to any members of our community. Rather, the papers contain general hate propaganda and unfounded conspiracy theories. This is currently being investigated as a hate incident. Anyone with information regarding the individuals who left the papers are encouraged to contact the Fresno Police Department at 559-621-7000.
