March 7, 2024 - SONORA, Calif. – Following up with the solicitation of comments for the pending State OHV grant program, the web-based comment portal is now open through May 6, 2024.

Forest recreation specialists and OHV managers have completed two draft grants for consideration by the California State Parks Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division.

The grant proposals include a forest-wide operations and maintenance project for OHV trails and facilities and a forest-wide law enforcement patrol project.

The public comment period will begin March 5 for preliminary 2024 Off-Highway Vehicle grant applications. Interested parties may submit comments from March 5, 2024 through May 6, 2024.
