The Mother Lode Jewish Community is celebrating Tu B'Shvat (Jewish Arbor Day) on Sunday, January 31st, 2016.  Tu B'Shvat is also known as the “New Year for Trees”.  Here, in our Mother Lode community, we are surrounded by nature’s bounty and celebrate this uniquely Jewish holiday mindful that we are stewards - not just consumers of the earth and its produce.  We will participate in a Seder service conducted by Rabbi Andra Greenwald, enjoy a shared potluck meal and plant a few trees.
