During November 2015, 550 residents were unemployed. A drop of 19.1% from November 2014 when 680 residents were unemployed.
The Leisure and Hospitality industry with 1,720 workers during November 2015 employed 270 fewer workers (-13.6%) than during October 2015 when 1,990 workers were in the industry. Compared to November 2014 the Leisure and Hospitality industry employed 10 fewer workers (-.6%) when the industry employed 1,730 workers.
The Government employed 7.0% more workers during November 2015 (2,000) than in November 2014 when 1,870 people were employed in Government jobs.
Construction employment in November 2015 was up 11.8% over November 2014 with 190 employees compared to 170 during November 2014.
The Civilian Labor Force came in at 7,710 during November 2015. The Labor Force decreased by 50 people (-.6%) from November 2014 when the Labor Force was at 7,760.
There were 7,160 employees in the county during November 2015, an increase of 80 employees in the county over November 2014 when 7,080 residents were working in the county. That results in a year to year increase of 1.1%.
