April 3, 2024 - National Weather Service Hanford Office officials report a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued from 11:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 3 to 11:00 P.M. Friday, April 5 for the Sierra Nevada above 4,000 feet.
4 to 8 inches of snow are expected above 4,000 feet and 6 to 12 inches of snow are expected above 6000 feet.

Winds gusting as high as 60 mph on exposed ridgetops and along the crest. * WHERE...Sierra Nevada from Yosemite National Park to northern portions of Kern County. * WHEN...Valid from 11 PM PDT Wednesday evening until 11 PM PDT Friday evening. * IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult.
