April 20, 2024 - Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report 22 year old Yadwinder Brar of Fresno has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges of evading police, reckless driving and driving on a suspended license. His bail was set at $12,000. He has posted bond and been released with a notice to appear in court.

Around 3:30 pm on Friday, a Fresno County Sheriff's deputy witnessed a black Mercedes driving recklessly near Highway 180 and McCall Ave. in Fresno. The car was travelling southbound in the northbound lane, endangering the lives of other motorists. The deputy attempted to make a traffic stop, but the driver, Yadwinder Brar, refused to pull over. Brar lead the deputy on a chase where he reached up to 100 mph. Brar eventually pulled over after being pursued for a little more than a mile. The deputy contacted Brar and arrested him. His car was towed to a storage facility.
