May 1, 2024 - Tulare County Sheriff's Office officals report on Monday, 4/29/2024, Sheriff's Office Deputies were called to an elementary school in Woodville for a report that a 13-year-old girl was trying to sell marijuana and vape pens on the school campus.
As the investigation progressed, Detectives learned the girl had gotten the marijuana and vape pens from her dad, who encouraged her to sell them at school.
Investigators were called to take over the investigation and served a warrant in the 25000 Block of Road 216 in Lindsay. The girl’s dad, 35-year-old Juan Ortiz of Lindsay, was taken into custody without incident and charged with child endangerment and providing marijuana and vape pens to a minor.
