This teacher training program is twice a month and continues through May. The program is taught by Gail Dreifus and funded through a grant. In addition to lessons, each participating teacher receives a guitar and a ukulele.
Steph Evans, Erika Miranda, and Teena Starchman hold their new guitars.
Steph Evans and Erika Miranda discuss what they are learning in the Guitars in the Classroom program.
Teena Starchman happily receives her very own ukelele.
The SFCS teachers look forward to incorporating more music into their curriculum with the help of this program.
Guitars in the Classroom is a national program. See guitarsintheclassroom.org for more information.
