May 3, 2024 - The John C. Fremont Hospital Foundation (JCFHF) recently awarded $1,000 scholarships to three Mariposa County High School seniors who are pursuing higher education degrees in health-related fields.


Congratulations to Samantha Marquez, Riley Poor, and Sadie Wass, who are pictured above with JCFHF Treasurer Saralynn Nusbaum (on the far left) and Scholarship Committee Chair Jill Harry (on the far right).

"These students submitted thoughtful and compelling applications," said Harry. "All of us at the Foundation wish them the best in their studies. We look forward to hearing how they are doing along the way to careers in medicine."

The John C. Fremont Hospital Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) dedicated to strengthening the rural communities of the John C. Fremont Healthcare District to maximize health through partnership and philanthropy.
