TRAFFIC ADVISORY 
One-Way Traffic Control for May 5-11, 2024 

May 3, 2024 - MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this week on State Route-140 (SR-140) for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

STATE ROUTE 140

• One-way traffic control at Fourth Street for sign work on Monday, May 6, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Mariposa Creek to State Route 49 South for guardrail work beginning Sunday, May 5, through Monday, May 6, from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and Tuesday, May 7, through Friday, May 10, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from Whitlock Road to El Portal Road for pavement work beginning Monday, May 6, through Friday, May 10, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Bull Creek Road to South Fork Merced River for pavement work beginning Sunday, May 5, through Friday, May 10, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from Midpines to Briceburg for pavement work beginning Sunday, May 5, through Friday, May 10, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
