On the evening of Thursday, December 17, Sierra Foothill Charter School students entertained family and friends with fabulous performances in the multipurpose room, including instruments, songs, poems, and skits. The evening also included a Book Fair, Winter Boutique of handmade items, and desserts, hot cocoa and other warm drinks.Band students in kindergarten through eighth grade played 3 songs. Band instructor Gail Vanderslik (left) said that in the spring, all 20 band students will be ready to participate in a performance.

Note the lovely snowflakes. The first and second graders made those with their seventh and eighth grade buddies.Teena Starchman's third and fourth grade class sang and performed, "Sleigh Ride."
Erika Miranda's fifth and sixth grade class recited and performed to the poem, "A Winter Poem."
Andrea Contreras' seventh and eighth grade class performed 3 short skits from the movie, "Frozen."
The audience was delighted by all the performances.
Sierra Foothill Charter School is a free, non-profit, K-8 public school. Space is currently available in Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and grades 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, and the home school program.
