UPDATE: Crews will be working Friday night and possibly Saturday night as well. Work will begin Friday night, May 17th, at 9:00 p.m. and go on until Saturday morning, May 18th at 8:00 a.m. If needed, the same could happen for Saturday night May 18th into Sunday morning, May 19th.
May 17, 2024 - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), along with Cal Valley Construction, announces that starting the night of Sunday, May 12th, the traffic signals at the intersection of State Route (SR) 41 with Avenue 15 and with SR 145, in Madera County, will be flashing red during overnight hours (8:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.).
The following will occur:
- Starting Sunday night May 12th, till Friday morning, May 17th, between the hours of 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, the traffic signals at Avenue 15 and SR-145, along SR-41, will be flashing red.
- One-way traffic control will be in place as well.
- Drivers may experience short delays during these times.
- The traffic signals will not be flashing red during the daylight hours.
This is necessary, as the construction project on State Route 41, from Avenue 15 to SR-145, continues to progress.
