TRAFFIC ADVISORY
One-Way Traffic Control for May 19-25, 2024
May 17, 2024 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this week on State Route-140 (SR-140) for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
STATE ROUTE 49
- One-way traffic control from Stumpfield Mountain Road to Tiptop-Usona Road for slope repair work on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from Tip Top-Usona Road to West Fork Chowchilla River for slope repair work on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from Watt Road Extension to Chowchilla Mountain Road for slope repair work on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 132
- One-way traffic control from SR-49/Coulterville to Old Highway 49 for drainage work beginning Monday, May 20, through Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 140
- One-way traffic control from Mariposa Creek to State Route 49 North for bridge work beginning Sunday, May 19, through Friday, May 24, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- One-way traffic control from Briceburg to South Fork Merced River for pavement work beginning Sunday, May 19, through Friday, May 24, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- One-way traffic control from South Fork Merced River to Yosemite National Park for pavement work beginning Sunday, May 19, through Friday, May 24, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- One-way traffic control at Lower Trower Road for guardrail repair work on Wednesday, May 23, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
