Homicide Update – Suspects Arrested

May 22, 2024 – Fresno Police Department officials report that shortly before 11:00 p.m. on April 17, 2024, officers from the Northwest Policing District responded to the area of Fairmont Avenue and Holt Avenue regarding a 15-round Shot Spotter activation. As officers were responding to the scene, dispatch received updated information that a shooting victim was on the scene. Officers arrived and located 44-year-old David Holliman seated in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. Holliman was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. Holliman was transported to CRMC, where he was listed in critical condition.

During their investigation, detectives learned that Holliman was driving eastbound on Fairmont Avenue with his girlfriend and their two children, ages eight and four. As Holliman pulled over to the north side of Fairmont Avenue, two armed suspects approached the driver’s side and began shooting into the vehicle. The gunfire was directed at Holliman. Fortunately, none of the other passengers were struck.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, late in the evening, Holliman succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives have identified the murder suspects as Terrance Gonzalez and Lesean Bradshaw. Gonzalez was arrested and charged last week during a multi-location search warrant operation. Bradshaw was already in custody at the Fresno County Jail on unrelated charges, and murder charges were added. Both suspects face multiple counts of attempted murder for the surviving occupants who were in the car at the time of the murder.

Anyone with information on this case (Case# 2404171544) should contact Fresno Police Department Homicide Detective Vic Miranda at 559-621-2452. Anyone calling with information can remain anonymous by contacting Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP (7867).
