“In America, throughout our nation’s history, we have always taken pride in a fair independent judiciary, whether or not we agree with the verdict. Today’s decision was determined by a jury of former President Trump’s peers. We are reminded that no one is above the law in our judicial system.
Sadly, in the divided nation that we live in today, many will take issue with the judgment of the court. We must for the sake of our nation’s well-being work to heal our divisions, and move forward in the best interests of the American people.”
