June 1, 2024 - National Weather Service Hanford Office officials report an Excessive Heat Watch is now in effect for the SJ Valley, lower Sierra Nevada foothills, and the Kern County desert floor for Wednesday and Thursday of next week.

High temperatures near 110 degrees expected in the hottest locations with lows as warm as the 70's.
