Sexual Assault Investigation 

June 6, 2024 – Mono County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Thursday, May 30, 2024, Mono County Sheriff’s Office Investigators and Mono Mono Lent sex offenderCounty District Attorney Investigators arrested Paul Samuel Lent, 43, of Susanville, CA for four felony counts of sexual acts with a child under the age of 14.

On Monday, June 03, 2024, Mr. Lent appeared in Mono County Superior Court and was arraigned on a total of 13 felony counts of sexual acts with a child under the age of 14. These acts were alleged to have occurred in the Bridgeport area approximately during the summer of 2006.

During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that there are potentially other victims in the Bridgeport and/or Susanville areas spanning decades, possibly as far back as the early 2000s. As with all pending cases, Mr. Lent is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
