TCSO Swiftwater Dive Team Searches For Missing Girl in Kaweah River 

June 12, 2024 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Tuesday, at about 5:00 p.m., TCSO Deputies received a call that a 17-year-old girl was swimming in the Kaweah River when she disappeared.

The TCSO Swiftwater Dive Rescue Team, along with Sequoia National Park Service are currently on scene searching for her.

The public is asked to stay out of the area while search efforts are in effect.
