Joint Effort with the US Marshal Task Force Yields Arrest 

June 15, 2024 – Calaveras County Sheriff's Office officials report that over the last several months, suspect Brandon Francis Condry, age 35, of Valley Springs, has been the subject of multiple investigations.  These investigations have involved vandalism, felony domestic violence, felony burglary, felony stalking, battery, felony vehicle theft, felony false imprisonment, brandishing a weapon, and dissuading a witness.  The investigation into these incidents resulted in several wants and warrants for the arrest of Condry. Attempts to arrest Condry were deliberately delayed due to assistance from accomplices. 

On June 11, 2024, at approximately 12:40 P.M., deputies from the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office and the US Marshal Fugitive Apprehension Task Force coordinated an operation to apprehend Condry. The suspect was found near a business in the 100 block of Riley Way, Valley Springs, where law enforcement personnel established a perimeter and successfully arrested him.  

While suspect Condry was being booked into the county jail for the aforementioned changes, detectives determined the location where he was recently hiding. They subsequently served a search warrant in the 7000 block of Baldwin Street, Valley Springs. While searching, the detectives located a vehicle associated with a stolen vehicle case in which Condry was the suspect.  

The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office would like to express our gratitude to the US Marshal Fugitive Apprehension Task Force for their assistance in getting this dangerous person into custody.
