June 25, 2024 – Mariposa Music on the Green will host the band, Sugar Pine on Friday, July 5th and Soul Galaxy on Saturday, July 6th.
Sugar Pine is an acoustic string ensemble from North Fork, California that has been performing regularly at the Yosemite Sugar Pine railroad for over 40 years! The band covers popular tunes from many genres including country, bluegrass, folk, pop, rock and jazz. The band consists of guitar, bass, percussion, banjo and vocal harmonies.

Soul Galaxy will make their annual Music on the Green appearance on Saturday, July 6th. Soul Galaxy is one of the longest running, consistently performing bands on the Mariposa County music scene. They play a mix of original and cover songs in the rock and blues tradition. The band is fronted by guitar virtuoso Tim Hagar and includes Jon Kidd on Drums and vocals and Charles Green on Bass, with potential for special guests throughout the set.
Soul Galaxy to perform on Saturday, July 6
All performances begin at 7:00 P.M. (unless otherwise noted) at the Mariposa County Art Park (5013 Hwy 140) in historic downtown Mariposa, CA. Parking is available along 4th and 5th Street. The lower 5th Street parking lot provides an accessible pedestrian path to the Art Park through the Mariposa Creek Parkway entry. Tips for the performers will be solicited, encouraged, and appreciated.
